How to install the flange heater?

In the field of industrial electric heating equipment, flange electric heating pipes are the most commonly used heating pipes. Flange heaters have been widely used due to their high power advantages. At the same time, flange electric heating pipes are generally used to heat liquids, collectively referred to as immersion heating pipes. Therefore, in the industrial electric heating equipment, the installation method of the flange heater has naturally become a concern of everyone. This problem must be considered in advance when we design the heating tube, because the design of the heating tube is different for different installation methods.

Choice of flange installation and fixing methods.

1. Threaded fixation.

A sort of. One is to drill holes in the container, the female tooth ring is directly welded to the container, and the threaded flange heating tube can be directly screwed on the tooth ring.

The other is that the material of the container is thicker. Punch holes and pass through the heating tube. Tighten the heating pipe thread with a large hexagon nut to fix it (there is a sealing ring in the middle).

The installation direction of the flange electric heating pipe is generally horizontal installation, with holes at the bottom of the side, and vertical installation from top to bottom (or from bottom to top).

1. For vertical installation, it is recommended that the user set aside a part of the cold end (the size of the cold end is subject to the lowest water level) to make a liquid level controller. When the bottom of the side is installed horizontally, dry burning can almost be avoided.

2. However, when installing horizontally, the length of the heating pipe must be considered. Due to the influence of gravity, the force area on one side of the horizontal installation is small, and the unit force is large. Therefore, this issue must be properly considered when selecting flange parameters.
