What is the relationship between the immersion heater of the oil storage tank and the temperature drop of the circulating oil?

INDUSTRIAL HEATER    Heater Tube    What is the relationship between the immersion heater of the oil storage tank and the temperature drop of the circulating oil?

Whether in daily life or industrial use, heating oil is a common phenomenon, and immersion heaters are generally used for heating. When heating circulating oil, there is a temperature drop between the surface temperature of the immersion heater and the oil being heated. So what is the relationship between the temperature of the immersion heater and the temperature drop of the circulating oil?

The relationship between the temperature and the temperature drop of the circulating oil is listed below (when the surface load of the heating tube is 2.8W/cm2).

1. The surface temperature of the immersion heater is 150 degrees, and when the oil temperature is 15 degrees, the temperature drop is 135 degrees.

2. When the surface temperature is 147 degrees and the oil temperature is 40 degrees, the temperature drop is 107 degrees.

3. When the surface temperature is 142 degrees and the oil temperature is 75 degrees, the temperature drop is 66 degrees.

4. When the surface temperature is 142 degrees and the oil temperature is 90 degrees, the temperature drop is 52 degrees.

5. When the surface temperature is 144 degrees and the oil temperature is 100 degrees, the temperature drop is 44 degrees.

It can be seen from the above data that the temperature in the circulating oil is closely related to the temperature drop: the closer the oil temperature is to the surface temperature of the immersion heater, the smaller the temperature drop. When the surface temperature of the heating oil immersion heater does not change, the lower the temperature drop, the higher the oil temperature. Of course, this is the data tested in the same viscosity oil.

In fact, the size of the temperature drop mainly depends on the viscosity of the oil, and the viscosity of the oil determines its temperature. The lower the temperature, the higher the viscosity of the oil, which makes the fluidity of the oil poor. If the fluidity is poor, the speed at which the electric heating tube absorbs the surface temperature will slow down. The temperature drop will be even greater.

Therefore, when a customer customizes an immersion heater for an oil storage tank, we always ask the customer how the viscosity and fluidity of the oil to be heated is. Then based on the relationship between circulating oil temperature and temperature drop, design immersion heaters with reasonable surface load for customers.
